Move with Peppa is an interactive parent/carer supported series of weekly classes for 18 months to 5 year olds, created using the stories from the awarded winning episodes. Children and parents/carers will get to spend 45mins each week losing themselves in the magic of Peppa Pig and learning the importance of physical literacy. We have 2 classes both 45 minutes long 18 months to 2.5 years and 2.5 years to 5 years. Our classes are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and draw on dance, physical activity, core movements, storytelling and rhymes to develop the whole child. We have developed a series of ‘character moves’ based on key Peppa Pig characters, which engage and inspire our children whilst develop fundamental skills. Classes can be booked in 6 – 12 week blocks. For more information please visit www.movewithpeppa.com or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Classes are held at The Reef on Thursday at 9:15am-10:00am for 18 month to 2.5 years and 10:15am-11:00am for 2.5 years to 5 years

WE’VE MADE IT!
The Reef Youth & Community Centre is now open after 10 long years of fund raising and a two year build project. We’ve had lots of set-backs on the way but with the help and support of so many charities, organisations, councils and the hundreds of local people who have taken part in fund raising events and made donations we have achieved our goal of opening a fabulous facility for the whole community to use.
A PLACE FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE
The Reef Youth Club will be opening again on October 4th for young people age 10 – 17 years, from school year 6 upwards. It will give young people living in the Colehill, Wimborne, Corfe Mullen and surrounding areas, together with their parents, the opportunity to have a look round the new centre, talk to youth workers and check out the programme of events and activities that will be running on a weekly basis during term-time. The full club time-table will be available with details of the start dates and times for each year group. The club will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
A PLACE FOR THE COMMUNITY
The Reef Youth & Community Centre will be the centre of our community, available for clubs, societies and groups to meet together on a regular basis in this fabulous new building. The building is on two floors with a large open “sports” hall on the ground floor and a spacious first floor hall with a TV room, IT station and fully functional kitchen. It will be the perfect venue for children’s parties, discos, dances, band-nights and charity events as well as a place for people to come together to learn new skills, take part in an exercise class or brush up on the latest IT.
WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
We are going to need a team of volunteers to help run the Reef Youth & Community Centre and will actively be recruiting people to help with admin, bookings, cleaning, maintenance, gardening, coffee shop, cafeteria and events. We did it for the library so let’s do it for The Reef Youth & Community Centre.
THIS IS YOUR BUILDING AND TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE IT A HUGE SUCCESS!
Unbelievably it is 10 years since committee members of the Reef and Wimborne Youth Club got together and floated the idea to rebuild the Reef. Through thick and thin these stalwarts formed a limited company with charitable status and persisted in raising funds to knock down the old flat roofed caretaker’s bungalow adjacent to St Michael’s School and replace it with a two storey purpose built building. Fund raising has not been easy especially with the recent recession but now at last we are assured that we have secured sufficient funding to turn our vision into a reality.
